Clutch Friction Plates

- Different friction materials are used to match the original specification
- The plates should be allowed to bed in to avoid glazing the friction surface
- Some synthetic oils increase the danger of clutch slip


Clutch Steel Plates

- All plates are made from corrosion free steel
- Thickness and dimensions correspond to the original
- Replace at same time as friction plates.


Clutch Springs

- Approximately 10% increase in strength compared with the original springs
- Increase in strength is applied through extra length or by tighter winding of the springs.
